Chess Builds Bridges: Inspired by Judit Polgar’s Powerful Message

We at Summit School of Chess were recently heartened and inspired by news of the special simultaneous chess exhibition organized in Berlin. Legendary Hungarian Grandmaster Judit Polgar, widely considered the best female player in history, played against 40 opponents to raise awareness for Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

Unifying Power of Chess

Polgar’s participation highlights the unifying power of chess, its ability to transcend differences and build bridges between communities. This event showcased the importance of sportsmanship while confronting difficult realities like antisemitism and hostage situations.
